2. Wedding Date
3. Location (city and state)
4. Wedding/Reception venue
5. Along with no more than 10 photos, give us a brief summary about you and your new hubby (e.g. occupation, how you met), how he popped the question, and a few details about the wedding day.

People Magazine recently published photos of Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake's Italian wedding with many people surprised to see Jessica wearing a custom designed pink Giambattista Valli gown. Wedding gowns are evolving into fashion statements leaving behind the tradition of brides wearing white dresses.

New York bridal week has wrapped up and there was one trend that designers are loving for this Spring. The peplum dress. The peplum dress has been popular for the last few seasons, and now they are making their onto wedding dresses. These flirty and feminine gowns are great for that fashion forward bride looking for something fun and an alternative to the traditional bridal gown.

I Do! Bridal Soiree

Weddings In Houston Magazine held their annual I Do! Bridal Soiree on Sunday January 23rd at the Houstonian Hotel. This was my first visit to the show, and I must say that the exclusiveness of the show was a breath of fresh air from the semi-annual Bridal Extravaganza. Rather than having rows and rows of vendors and thousands of attendees, there was an appropriate selection of vendors for brides to choose from without having to deal with an overwhelming amount of information in one day. 

Not Your Mom's Shoes

Brides to be focus so much on the perfect wedding dress, they forget that the shoes are also a vital part to the ensemble. But the day of the traditional white shoes are over. Today's brides are trading in the classic white pump for a much more edgy designer shoe in bold colors. Don't be afraid to experiment with color for your big day. Or, if the classic white shoe is your preference, try on a pump or sandal with different embellishments for a stand out shoe.
